De Syrische grootmeester Duraid Lahham keert terug naar het witte doek met 2 Days (Yomein),  die niet alleen de hoofdrol speelt maar ook het scenario schreef, omschrijft de film als een “witte komedie”—een genre dat subtiele humor en optimisme combineert met sociale realiteit.

Het verhaal speelt zich af in een klein dorp en volgt twee kinderen die samen met Lahham een reis door het leven maken, vol kleine momenten van vreugde en introspectie. In tegenstelling tot een zwarte komedie, die vaak cynisch of satirisch is, gebruikt 2 Days lichte, humane humor om hoop te brengen te midden van dagelijkse uitdagingen.
