De regio voelt voor sommigen ver weg; voor anderen juist heel dichtbij. MENA is here gaat ook over de aanwezigheid van de regio in Nederland. The MENA region is a cultural mosaic, where different ethnic groups, cultures and languages coexist. It is a society with ancient history and an immensely rich cultural landscape. MENA is colourful and fascinating, accessible and moving. Come and listen to the stories of the people from this region; to their personal experiences of the here and now.
The region feels far away for some, and very close for others. MENA is here is also about the presence of the region, here in the Netherlands. About the cultural elements that were brought here. About existing together and coexisting. About recognition and curiosity. About making connections and building bridges. Different perspectives and worlds come together. MENA is part of our society, deserving of a permanent place on our stages.
